Dr. John Lloyd, Sr. Pastor

John accepted the Lord as his personal savior in the year 1976 and has pursued a life of ministry ever since. He was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Massachusetts. He has served extensively in taking students and adults to the mission field. After traveling to over forty countries such as Russia, Mexico, China, and India, he served as Associate Pastor at North side Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. Following God's lead, John answered the call to go to Mountain Range Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. John and Anne were married in 1980 and are the parents of twins, Thomas and Heather. Heather is married to Matthias Giezendanner. They are thrilled to serve the Lord at Christ Community Church. It has brought both of them home to their families and friends.

Pastor John has a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Masters of Arts in Religion from Liberty University. John enjoys golf (and more golf) softball, basketball, and skiing.

Pastoral Staff, Matt Thornton

Matt has had a passion for serving the Lord since an early age.  He and his wife Wendi felt a call toward full time ministry for many years.  In 2009, Matt began studying for his Masters Degree in Theology at Gordon Conwell Seminary.  Both Matt and Wendi have a passion for discipleship and soul care.  Matt has many years of ministry experience, teaching, training, men's ministry, sports ministry, one to one discipleship, and others. They were married in 1998.  Wendi is an RN and home schools their three children Hannah, Christian, and Isabelle.  Matt enjoys, time with the family, basketball, golf, boating, Patriots games and cupcakes.
